We will highlight the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) area of our website as well as provide clarification on important elements of Social Security benefits. Additional topics include how benefit amounts are determined for individuals and spouses, coverage groups under Social Security, how to get a replacement Social Security card, and factors surrounding disability benefits.

SSI From A to Z

SSI and SSDI are very different programs. SSI has many different facets that make the program complicated. This webcast features a 3 part series discussing the SSI program from A to Z. Part 1 focuses on defining the SSI population including the disabled, the aged, the blind and children as well as discussing income and resources and other non-medical factors of eligibility. Part 2 focuses on explaining the disability program, how to file, and what medical forms are needed. Finally, part 3 focuses on work incentives and how work affects benefits. The SSI A-Z Spanish webcast provides an overview of the SSI program in Spanish.
